This module contains all insights relating to the planning and scheduling process. The information can be used to improve parts of the process, to justify suspicions with facts and to engage in mutual consultation.

The Scheduling module comprises various dashboards, which have been developed on the basis of our educational logistics experience and expertise. A number of KPIs are also displayed, such as the number of online lessons and the extent to which the schedule is evenly planned.

Some examples of insights that are provided are:

• Most frequently used rooms
• Schedule changes
• Scheduled working methods
• Number of contact hours
• etc.

The Education module is intended for process coordinators, faculty directors and team leaders, to name a few. It provides insight into the way in which the education is organised. This insight can then be used to identify and tackle bottlenecks and thus improve organisation overall.

The various dashboards map the organisation of the education. This takes place from the perspective of both students and teachers, as well as support services.

Examples include:

• If we look at the schedule in relation to teacher contracts, is there a shortage or surplus of capacity?
• Do students have too many classes during the evenings?
• What is the attendance for tests? How does this relate to the requested capacity?

Suitable housing is perhaps one of the greatest challenges for educational institutions. This module provides insight into the current state of affairs and guidance for future decisions. Should we carry on renting cinemas or build additional lecture theatres ourselves? Would it be better to renovate that old building or dispose of it now, considering future expectations?

This module provides answers to questions such as:

• There appears to be a shortage of certain types of room. Can this be rectified by scheduling more during hours/on days that are less popular?
• Are there schools or faculties that keep requesting too many seats? What do these requests look like when compared to the actual attendance?
• Which buildings are less popular, but could help satisfy a need for certain room types?

What are the financial consequences of an inefficient schedule? And how do these consequences relate to student numbers (can they be justified)?

The Financial module is not intended to replace your financial reporting, but to provide insight into financial aspects in the education chain. It helps you to make decisions on building and room rental and supports you in making decisions on specific ways of working.

• Is it better to rent empty laboratories out or to teach theory yourself?
• How do staffing costs relate to our education?
